On an overall skill level, Nanami can be considered a model example of what a grade one sorcerer should be. With regards to combat ability, he is able to take on special grade cursed spirits. He also possesses great leadership abilities alongside great intellect and fighting strength. Items required to activate his technique: cursed tool in the shape of a blunt sword wrapped in a cloth with a splattered black dot design, and his signature dotted tie.

Cursed Energy: Nanami has remarkable levels of cursed energy for a jujutsu sorcerer. He can utilise his innate technique while reinforcing his body with cursed energy without showing any signs of running low. His control over his cursed energy is also shown by his ability to assign a Binding Vow to himself and limit it for a given amount of time.

Ratio Technique:Nanami's innate technique can divide his target with ten lines and forcibly create a weak spot at the ratio point of seven to three. Combined with his cursed tool, Nanami can cut through anything. This technique works with his fist as well as his sword, making him a master swordsman and a master hand-to-hand-combatant.

Collapse: An extension to Ratio which allows him to create several weak points in the surrounding environment and destroy it with a single blow.

Overtime: Nanami's signature binding vow with himself, limiting his cursed energy output to approximately 80% during his regular work hours. Once he goes into Overtime, Nanami exerts 110-120% of his maximum power.

Black Flash: A physical blow that is equal to a normal hit to the power of 2.5.

Enhanced Durability: Nanami is incredibly durable even by sorcerer standards. Aside from being compared to a stone wall in terms of toughness, he has been able to withstand devastating attacks by special grade cursed spirits, and was even able to continue fighting after suffering severe burn injuries that left two of his fellow sorcerers incapacitated and struggling for their lives.
